 U3AJoBurgEast Newsletter

HAPPY NEW YEAR – we wish you better than the best for this year.

Important Changes :   L

Ø      For reasons of economy your committee has decided that there will only be two mailings a year – 1 in January and 1 in July.

Ø      Both Johannesburg Branch and the Joburg East Branch have both agreed that their mailings will only include information pertinent to their own Branch. This does not mean you can only attend your own Branch – you are most welcome at either branch, as indeed at U3A Branches throughout, on presentation of you card.

However, if you wish to receive the Newsletter & Information of the Johannesburg Branch please email Maureen Meyerson at lesmaur@global.co.za with your request OR phone her at 011 440 8045 with your mailing details.

Ø      Please note that the Annual Membership fee is now R35 per person, but if you paid R30 at the Quiz Meeting in 2007 you need not pay the extra until 2009. Tea charges have also been increased to R5.00 – blame the Oil Crisis!!
