THE AIM OF U3A IS TO GIVE MEMBERS, AND OTHERS WHO ARE INTERESTED,
THE OPPORTUNITY TO MEET AND LEARN FROM EACH OTHER,
TO DEBATE COMMON ISSUES AND PROBLEMS
AND TO STRENGTHEN THE ORGANISATION WITH
MANY AND VARIED STUDY GROUPS AND SOCIAL ACTIVITIES.
Our General Meetings
are normally held on the last Wednesday of each month
in the Sayer's Hall of the George Museum
starting at 10 a.m.
At each of these
meetings we hear from a knowledgeable speaker
on a topic that we expect will be of interest to our members and guests.
We do not meet in December.
We send out a monthly newsletter to our members showing events and courses.
