National Opportunities - U3A South Africa
This page lists opportunities available to any U3A Member in South Africa. At present we have offers of discounts to U3A Members for holidays - one in the Alps and one in Crete.
If your family is looking for a great skiing holiday this season, you can do no better than visit Chamonix Mont Blanc. The Winter Olympics were held here some years ago as it has some of the best and highest skiing in the Alps. Also a wonderful variey of slopes for beginners and intermediate skiers.
Jason and Lisa Roberts run a family owned chalet in the valley, with everything you'll need to have a wonderful holiday. As a U3A Member, you and your family will receive a 10 % discount on their normal rates.
Your English will work fine here as it gets a lot of British visitors, so you'll get by easily without having to learn a foreign language. This is the chalet in November, the early snow promising a really good season.
